Hi, The wiki Davinci GIT Linux ( http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DaVinci_GIT_Linux_Kernel) shows that the uPP (Universal Parallel Port) has no driver support for Linux.
What is the reason for that? Should uPP driver be close to the applicaton? It means, are uPP drivers written to specific applications and no generic driver is published? Probably, I will start the development of an uPP Linux Driver for Omapl138 in the next weeks. And I would like to know the right way to do that. It means, is it possible to develop an enough generic driver to share to the comunity? Thanks, crmoratelli.
