There is no such thing as "a module samba-vscan based on dazuko". The samba-vscan module hooks into the smbd processes via the VFS interface (a feature of Samba). While dazuko provides an on access scan facility for Dazuko enabled applications which neither Samba nor samba-vscan are. Please explain what exactly you do. Do you mix samba-vscan _and_ have Dazuko supervise the shared file system? Or did you modify samba-vscan to use Dazuko? If so, how and why? BTW is samba-vscan aware of the Windows clients opening files rather often in a very short timespan. That's why this module has a cache which you might want to tune by means of its config file. But that's off topic for the Dazuko list. virtually yours Gerhard Sittig pgp fingerprint AF29 3CD2 A531 F5A8 5F42 CB9A 1B7F 59F8 BA7A 9EE5 -- Gerhard Sittig Software Engineer H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH Lindauer Strasse 21, 88069 Tettnang, Germany tel +49 (0) 7542-500500, fax +49 (0) 7542-500576 <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://www.antivir.de> _______________________________________________ Dazuko-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/dazuko-devel
