Hi all,

I raised a request with ARIN to enforce the use of hierarchical AS-SET names
moving forward, as is the case in RIPE, APNIC, and LACNIC.

ARIN have opened a consultation process, which closes on the 23rd of May.

If you would like to see ARIN also adopt the requirement for AS-SETs to have
hierarchical names, please visit the following page and contact ARIN to record
your support for this request:
https://www.arin.net/participate/community/acsp/consultations/2025/2025-1/

Kind regards,
James Bensley (he/him)
