Use control panel/services and change the startup option in the service properties for db2services that are registered. Use the user id that belongs to the sysadm/sysctrl group in the database configuration for this instance (or the user who belongs to the local admin group) Regards, Ajith -----Original Message----- From: Sireesh Chandra M, STC Chennai [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2001 8:39 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: DB2EUG: Control Center Default Userid/Password Hi All, We are using DB2 UDB V6.1 EE. There are more than one servers and the clients are connecting to all of them. In some client machines, when we open control center its giving 'Username/Password supplied is incorrect'. Hence we are unable to use control center from some clients. I would like to know where this is set by default since we are not able to use control center even once after installaion. Also, the servers doesnt have the default password db2admin for the userid db2admin. Is it anyway that the local clients are trying for combination of the default db2admin/db2admin?? Could this be a problem?? Can anyone throw some info on this??Is there anyway to set the userid and password?? Thanks and Regards Sireesh. ===== To unsubscribe, send 'unsubscribe' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For other info (and scripts), see http://people.mn.mediaone.net/scottrmcleod
