Take a
look at using the DB2 Governor.
You’ll find a little doc in the in Command Ref, but the details are in
the Admin guide. I’ve used the
governor to in the past to exactly this sort of thing. As far as tuning is concerned, I’d
start by using the db2batch tool to examine your SQL and the snapshot monitor to
