Ok, I am probably missing something basic, but what?
I am using the DB2 version which came with Net.Commerce 3.1.2
(Websphere.Commerce Suite's predicessor). version 5.x of Db2 on Win Nt
4.0 sp 6a. I did an offline backup , ftpd the resulting file (binary
mode) to the new machine. (Net commerce is stopped so that there is no
other user of the database). From the command center I went to restore
the database. I selected the database, selected restore database. I
then browsed down to find the database backup I had created ( I've tried
this from the MSER.0 level all the way down to the specific file with the
same results), I get the notice that its starting and then a notice about
4 seconds later that it has finished with errors, The result, when I look
at the "journal" report is "failed". Any thougths.
