Platform: DB2 UDB V7.1 running under AIX 4.3.3

When a DB2 instance was installed, the installer (not me) did not explicitly
specify a user ID to be used for running fenced stored procedures & UDFs. My
question: is it possible to add a fenced user ID for an instance after the
instance is installed? I can't find anything in the DB2 documentation or the
listserv archives on this subject. I'm guessing that you would create the ID &
associated group under AIX & then execute the 'db2iupdt' command with the '-u'
parameter to specify the user ID. Is this correct? If so, does the instance
have to be stopped to run the db2iupdt command?

Thanks for your assistance.
