Hi all,

We have enabled the audit option 'Validate' to get the authentication details of the
user in UDB 6.1 on NT. On logon the userid is validated on the NT server. After
connecting to the database from the Db2 command line ,
I get two rows from the audit log file. In both records all the details are same
except for the timestamp.

I would like to know why 2 records are created for each connect ? I just need one
record for each logon. I would like to enable this option in the production where
100 user will be working on an application. Will there be any performance issues if
we enable this option.? Is there any option to increase the performance after
enabling the audit option ?

TIA
Siva
