there appears to be several different ways to get around the link problem
(usr/lib/libdb2.a) what is the best way?

I tried to set it up and it works perfectly. No problem. The only thing is
the DAS runs on a fixed port 523 so i cannot have it for both DB2 6 and DB2
7.

But for that everything works fine.
