We have not been able to do this. I think the minute that the mainframe is
involved, then RACF or ACF2 will enter the picture and therefore you will
need a mainframe ID and password.

Thanks.

Subject: DB2EUG: Trusted Connections to OS390

Has anyone ever setup a DB2 client to allow trusted connections to MVS
DB2?
In summary what Im looking to do is allow NT users the ability to connect
to
an MVS cataloged TCPIP node without supplying their userid and password and
thus use their current NT userid for permissions. And the tricky part
would
be can this be done only if you are signed on to the corporate domain. I
don't want users to create local accounts and connect to DB2 with them
since
they could thus impersonate someone else.

Any help or suggestions from people would be great!
