Hello all,
We have been having some intermittent problems with the C code disk version of
the sample userexit. We modified the sample code and compiled it back in May
when we went live with this instance. Most of the time all is well.
Occasionally though, when we bounce the instance (we do this routinely on Sunday
nights), the userexit apparently does not get started up properly. My questions
are: a) has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do about it,
and b) how can I tell if the exit gets started properly immediately after the
instance comes back up? I tried doing a ps -ef|grep db2u, but I think the only
time that command would render anything is if the exit is offloading at that
particular time.
BTW, we run DB2 UDB EE v 6.1 on AIX 4.3.3.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
