I have 7 UDB 5.2 instances on an AIX 4.3 system. 4 of them cannot start its
database performance monitor (other 4 can). For these problem instances,
when I select a monitor (default one or the one I have created) to start, I
get back the following error message:
DBA4735 A failure occurred when trying to attach to the
database instance. Monitoring history data will
be lost. smcode: "-35"
And the monitor did not get started.
A look at the DBA4735 error message says:
DBA4735 A failure occurred when trying to attach to the
database instance. Monitoring history data will
be lost. smcode: "<Error code>"
Cause: See the server error logs for more information.
Action: Contact your technical service representative with
the smcode.
And the db2das error logs state:

Can any one tell me how to fix that problem? Any suggestions are welcome.
