The fix 3a I am referring to the Fix related to websphere related.

If websphere is using UDB database then there is an interim fixpak and that 
has to be installed over the Fix pak 3.

In general what I heard is the interim fixs may no include in the following 
fixpak, that all depends on the closing data IBM has choose.
