Hi All, We have an old platform running DB2 V6 and Windows NT Server. It has 4GB of memory which we want to exploit. We are currently using less than 2 GB for DB2, and the machine is mainly a database server. My understanding is that a single program is limited to 2GB of memory under NT and to 3GB if using the Advanced Server option.
We are planning to use DB2 extended memory (Database configuration parameter NUM_ESTORE_SEGS) to get around the 2 (or maybe 3) GB limit on memory usage for NT tasks. Has anybody used extended memory on NT and is there anything we should watch out for?
