I have a question regarding what DB2 should be getting rid of when database
is dropped. I would think
it would get rid of the SQL0000n directory when database is dropped. I
have noticed on a couple of servers
that even after a database is dropped, the directory structures still
remain. Meaning there are more SQL0000n
directories than there are databases. I do a "list database directory" and
it lists the databases that are
currently on the server. However, when I do a "list database directory on
drive letter" I get back more databases
than there are on the server, but the number listed matches the number of
SQL0000n directories on that drive.

Anybody have any ideas on why this is?

DB2 UDB version 6.1 for NT
NT version 4.0 server
