Hi,

Would You be interested to review a white paper addressing our planned
support for DB2 on OS/390 and OS/400?

I left IBM after 20 years. Janet Perna and her team is now working with
Protegrity to enhance the privacy and security of the DB2 family.

Our current customers (US Government, Visa, American Express, Royal Bank of
Canada,
Hongkong Bank, Goldman Sachs, Coca Cola, Intel, PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
eBay.com, Roche, AstraZeneca, Abbott Labs, ...) are using our
software to protect information against external and internal attacks across
DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and Informix on Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, NT and
Win2k.

Our software provides a product-ready solution that facilitates compliance
to key Privacy Mandate requirements (EU Privacy Directive, GLBA, Safe
Harbor, HIPAA, VISA/CISP, FDA, Bill/C-6, COPA, ...)'.

We are now extending our technology to DB2 on OS/390 and OS/400 in a close
partnership with IBM, Bank of America, Prudential Financial, Morgan Stanley
Dean Witter, Allstate Insurance Company, and The Coca Cola Company.

We are planning to offer the following functionality for DB2 on OS/390 and
OS/400:

- Automated Secure Key Management protected by RACF, preventing internal
attacks (DBA, ...).
- A high level of Application Transparency.
- Automated Installation and Migration via centralized 'wizard' support.
- Separation of Duties including - Single Point of Control for Mandatory
Access Control- MAC.
- Secure (forensic level) Audit.

We are also in the process of extending our support for wireless solutions,
including functionality to maintain an audit trail of transmitting data,
encrypt data during the wireless transmission and encrypt the data stored on
the client (PDA, ...).

Regards, Ulf Mattsson,
CTO and Senior Vice President,
