I see I've stirred up a hornet's nest.
The client is set on the rate ($55-65/hr W2, up to $75/hr if incorporated) as they have a whole team of contractors in at that rate already.
Although the contract is for 6 months, it's likely to run longer term, as that has been our experience with this client.
As for the 10 years+, I agree that's asking for a lot, but I think they will settle for less as long as the person has been a UDB DB2 DBA on UNIX in a production environment, with Oracle, for most of that time.
Any takers?
Alex.
