A strange request I know, but I want to produce an "in doubt transaction" state on a database in DB2 for Linux, Unix or Windows (especially Linux since that is easiest for me to test with).
Why, you might ask ? So that I can produce and test a script to check for the situation and automatically resolve the problem. Thankfully I've never experienced such a thing in the wild !!! If anyone has and would be willing to share experiences then that would be useful. Also guidance as to when NOT to run such a utility (for example do "in doubt" states appear during normal transaction processing).
