I am wondering what backup strategies are used to take advantage of incremental database backups. Do you take a weekly full database backup and then incremental database backups during the week. If so, is the weekly full database backup an online or offline? When a restore situation arises, do you restore from a full database backup and then restore each incremental database backup until you get to the point you wanted to restore?
