Hello,

I have a process in which I take an online backup of a production database,
copy the backup and needed log files over to another server, restore the
database and rollforward the database to end of logs and complete. This
has been working well until recently. Once the rollforward database is
complete, the database goes into a backup pending status and I can't seem
to think of why this is happening. I have the same process that runs for a
different production database and restores to a different target database
on the same server and it does not go into a backup pending status at the
end of the rollforward command. I am dealing with DB2 version 7.2 fixpack
6 on Windows 2000. The source databases are set to logretain=Recovery. As
I said before, the process was running well until the last week or so when
I started having this problem. I guess I am needing to know what are all
of the actions that will put a database into a backup pending status?
