------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 16 10:15:16 -0700 2006 ------- Problem: OOo Base recognizes only lowercase suffixes for dbase files (.dbf) on non-Windows systems. This is confusing, as dbase files often have uppercase extensions (DOS / Windows based dbase files don't care about that). Furthermore this is inconsistent within OOo applications (e.g. Calc is able to import .DBF files) Possible solution: Allow mixed case extensions for dbase files in Base. As this would have some sideffects that may lead to data corruption we need to write a specification. I'll write such a specification based on some e-mail discussions as follow-up of issue 68249. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
