A number of people have complained on the OOoForum site about problems sending Base files via email to other individuals. Most have been traced back to this exact problem. They work with the file, close it and then attach it to an email. The file is still opened by Quickstarter and the changes they had made to forms and reports did not show up when the person receiving the file opens it.
