------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 2 17:47:59 +0000 2008 ------- In answering nbrouard's question "Is there another way to attach a form (.odt) to a database (.odb)": It is my opinion that if you use OO.o to link a database residing on the file system to an external form residing at another location on the file system as you are trying to do, then OO.o *has to* rely on the underlying operating system and file system layout. As you indicated, they are different between machines. It sounds like you are trying to use OO.o base to perform XForm type of stuff; thus, your approach doesn't address what you are trying to accomplish. You want to look into using OO.o and XForms to accomplish what you intend. One possible good writeup is titled "XForms and OpenDocument in OpenOffice.org" by David Eisenberg on the internet: http://opendocument.xml.org/files/xforms_ooo_06_10_25.pdf Another possible option (if he doesn't need to sync the data between all users) is to build an internal, native form within OO.o database. (I know this is not the support form, and things need to be kept on topic, but in an effort to help and direct nbrouard to the correct location I have mentioned it. If nbrouard wants to pursue this, then he might want to go to one of the many support forms such as http://support.openoffice.org/ for further help.) :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
