So the bug indeed is: When creating a new "Oracle JDBC" database/connection, the "Ignore currency information" settings is not automatically set. Finally, that's what the dedicated "Oracle JDBC" entry is intended for. Thanks for reminding me! (for the reload: Feel free to submit an issue. As usual, since Base does not use the same application framework as the other applications, we'd need explicit code for this, but that's doable.
