------- Additional comments from matayo...@openoffice.org Thu Jan 7 12:19:27 +0000 2010 ------- Base doesn't work if Java cannot be used. This problem did not occur in OOo3.1.1. Cause: When Java is invalid when the data base is made, it is made by the dBASE form. However, the problem actually occurs because it is made by Embedded database (HSQL database engine) form. Environment: Windows XP Professional SP3 OpenOffice.org 3.2rc1(OOO320m8) A reproduction procedure: 1. OpenOffice is started. 2. Choose [Tools]->[Options]->[OpenOffice.org]->[Java]. 3. Check remove "Use a Java runtime environment" of "Java options", and closed by [OK]. 4. Base is started. 5. Create a database according to a wizard. 6. Then, the error "The connection to the data source could not be established" occurs. I attach error dialog screenshot. thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
