The reasons to quote are the reasons to use parameters. And I don't bang my head against the wall or whine, I simply ask on this very DBD::Pg mailing list whether the inability to use all arrays as parameters is due to my lack of knowledge, if it's a bug in the package, a missing feature or as $DEITY intended.
