I tried to search the archives on this subject, but found no clue. When I call `$dbh->tables()' on DBD::Pg 1.22 (Pg.pm in CVS has same behaviour) I receive only a list of db tables and no views.
In the documentation for `DBD::Pg::tables', it clearly states that "tables and views" and returned, even if DBI (as of 1.38) does not mention views.
Is this the expected and correct result?
I know that using `table_info()' can be a solution to this, but I think we need to correct either documentation or Pg.pm code for `tables()' to remove this unconsistency.
Any thoughts on this?
