First batch of automated test results here:

http://www.andyh.co.uk/temp/DBD-Oracle/1.18RC1/

Windows native and Linux only so far. Linux/9.2 client appears to fail on
Unicode tests - whilst 10g clients succeed.

I've not been able to get any passes on Cygwin due to it apparently not
picking up on the TNS_ADMIN environment variable - all tests fail because
TNS is unable to resolve any database.

I haven't had time to work out the causes of either of these problems yet -
just posting the results as they come in.

On the test results above, the database versions for the db names in the
results are:

Db name version OS DB charset
------------------------------------------------------------------
XE 10.2.0.1XE (beta) Linux (32bit) WE8MSWIN1252
TEST102 10.2.0.2EE Linux (32bit) WE8ISO8859P15
XE_EXCESSION 10.2.0.1XE Windows XP AL32UTF8

Subject: ANNOUNCE: DBD::Oracle 1.18 release candidate

http://svn.perl.org/modules/dbd-oracle/trunk/DBD-Oracle-1.18-RC1.zip

=head1 Changes in DBD-Oracle 1.18 (scn rev 6642)

Updated README.win32.txt fixed some typos updated for 10XE
Added code to inplement support for the native OCI Array Interface with
execute_array from orginal patches by Kristian Nielsen and others.
Fixed expanded support for Lobs support from Jeffrey Klein
Added notes on expanded support for Lobs to Oracle.pm

Any and all testing would be greatly appreciated, but especially testing of
building against Oracle Instant Client and Oracle XE on a range of
platforms.

Thanks!
