        That's not good. I'll issue a patch Monday, and try to narrow down on
which versions of Oracle the fix for rt-74753 isn't working.

I have a new trial version changing the test so that it doesn't run if the db character set is not unicode. I'm at home today, so I can't run my battery of tests before releasing, but if anyone feel like giving it a whirl, the new version is at

FWIW, DBD::Oracle-1.27 is the last to work on Oracle-9.2.0.8
All beyond 1.27 fail
