Since I am named repeatedly in the "core group" of devs responsible for DBIT, I figured I will publically announce I will not be able to get involved in the short term. At some point I took on a "quick 2 week project". This was 2 months ago, and it is still going "strong". Thus my OSS time is spread very thin, and will probably remain so for a couple months until I catch up on everything that got dropped. DBIT is one of the first victims, sorry Jens ;) I am still going to lurk around and am rather interested where you guys will end up. Also am glad Tim picked up the higher-level design bit - the project needed that. One more note about the design scope - I see DBIC interop being mentioned in multiple places as one of the goals. I would encourage the rest of you to "design without it", as the test methodology of DBIC presents some rather unusual requirements, which will only serve to complicate the DBIT architecture. Down the road I may revisit what I could reuse/share, but until I have the time to sit down and think, the DBIC subgoal is just a hindrance. Cheers
