PREFIX=dir is a 'KEY=VALUE' pair, not an option.  Case is significant and no
'-'s are allowed.

Run 'perldoc ExtUtils::MakeMaker' and read the "PREFIX and LIB attributes"
and "PREFIX" sections for more information.
