To paraphrase the great Orson Welles from his infamous outtake tape, "Show me an
instance where RaiseError does not function as advertised and I'll go down on
you."  I think a bug that blatant would have been caught by now.

Besides, take a wild guess what DBI.xs does to implement RaiseError.  If it
doesn't catch it, I have a hard time believing something in pure Perl would be
able to do so in the same case.
