The versions must be different, try upgrading your Perl on the win2k.
Are you using Activestate Perl or Cygwin? I had the same problem with
ActiveState Perl, the Storable was not current. So I installed Cygwin
to compile a more recent version of Storable.pm. I perfer the Cygwin,
since I am a Unix person, and I was not sure how to make a ppm. There
is a new Activestate Perl for 5.6.1, you might try that, if you don't
have a current version of Perl. I do know that if you look in the archives,
it is stated that different versions of Storable will or may not be
compatiable. Search the Archive for the exact info.
