When you installed ActiveState perl is setup PPM for you. To install DBI, this is all you do. C:\ ppm ppm: install DBI ( churns for awhile, you'll see output ) ppm: quit C:\ That's it. If you are are a behind a firewall you may have to set the environment variable HTTP_PROXY for PPM to work properly. Take a look at the fine documentation for details.
