Thomas,
Will SQLMinus be capable of doing 'breaks' and 'compute sum'? The report formatting abilities of SQL*Plus are hard to beat. Perl is great for many things, but SQL*Plus is still much much better at some aspects of report formatting. I've used Perl to write a driver to SQL*Plus for just that reason. It would be wonderful to have all of those capabilities available as pure Perl. Jared On Wednesday 17 April 2002 17:54, Thomas A.
