DBD::Sybase : $dbh->{syb_chained_txn} = 0 won't work

In follow up to my last mail, I believe that it's the value of
syb_chained_txn that is my problem, however I can't set this to 0 (which
is the documented default.)

I've tried to set this to 0 in the connect and also on the dbh reference.
For some reason it just don't set to 0.

My debugger experience:


 DB<<34>> x $dbh->{syb_chained_txn}=0
0  1
  DB<<35>> x  "__".$dbh->{syb_chained_txn}."__"
0  '__1__'
  DB<<36>> x $dbh->{syb_chained_txn}=undef
0  1
  DB<<37>> x  "__".$dbh->{syb_chained_txn}."__"
0  '__1__'
  DB<<38>>


Can someone please enlighten me?
