Hi Jeff,

I have tried as suggested.

Installed Activestate Perl 5.8.4 fine.

C:\Perl\DBD-Oracle-1.16>ppm install
ftp://ftp.esoftmatic.com/outgoing/DBI/5.8.4/
DBI.ppd
Note: Package 'DBI' is already installed.

C:\Perl\DBD-Oracle-1.16>ppm install
ftp://ftp.esoftmatic.com/outgoing/DBI/5.8.4/
DBD-Oracle.ppd

Error: No valid repositories:
Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80
(connect: Unknown error)
Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80
(connect: Unknown error)

I Will try to upgrade to Oracle 8i meanwhile.
