Subject: Perl script aborting
Importance: High

Hi All,

Need some help from the Gurus.

I am executing a perl script (with DBI/DBD for Oracle 9i). The script
runs for few hours. But it is getting aborted abruptly in between. The
only message displayed on the terminal is:

*******************************************************
3005 Request ended unexpectedly
*******************************************************

There is no other information available. I have verified the syslog but
nothing is logged in that too. Sometimes, the script was "updating some
records" in the database and it got aborted. As a result the lock on the
table row was not released. So, it created some issues.

We are on HP UX 11.x.

Can any of you let me know what could be the possible reason for this
error? This does not happen on another HP-UX server environment.

Many thanks,
Nilanjan
