The problem I had with direct linking was that at search.cpan.org this is quite hard - as the final destinations are in author directories and it is hard to guess them. But I found out that I can use cpan.uwinnipeg.ca for that. A new file is already generated with links there. The only problem now is that not all modules have documentation there.
