See https://github.com/blogs-perl-org/blogs.perl.org/issues as this seems to be a known bug that's also affecting a bunch of other people. There is also a workaround, which is submitting from the main comment page rather than from the preview page. -- Darren Duncan

I tried leaving a comment, but its not working for me.

I logged in using my Google account, and then about 15 seconds later tried
to submit a comment (after previewing it), and then I get this error:

   Comment Submission Error

   Your comment submission failed for the following reasons: Your session has
expired. Please sign in again to comment.

This happened twice, in 2 different web browsers.
