My memory seems to have played a little trick on me: it wasn't /., it
was SourceForge.  They changed from MySQL to PostgreSQL, and their Tim
Perdue wrote an interesting article about the comparisons he did of
the two systems: <http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/tim20001112.php3>.
