rewrite ldap in head, with unit framework, and directly backport it to

That would be great. IIRC, it was esp the dbmail-adduser interface that was broken (yes, I lasted tested ldap before 2.0).

Anyway, I've only changed auth_get_known_users to return a GList instead of setting a struct list, and then only in authsql.c. I can change that back to 2.0 behaviour easily if necessary. That call is only used once in user.c
