I would appreciate some more testing and feedback regarding #193. It
works for me, but I rewrote that code.

It will lead to some (picky) people complaining about incorrect GMT
offsets (off by 1 error). I know for a fact netbsd will give off-by-1
timezones for messages that are before the last DST switch, so freebsd
may behave similarly. No reason to hold 2.0.5 for something that
innocent though.
