Summary: IMAP does not provide subject
Description:
When using IMAP, clients do not receive the subject for a message. POP3
does provide subject and subject is being correctly stored in database.

This report is way too vague to act upon. There haven't been any
indicications of IMAP violations since 2.2.2 or 2.2.3.
Please provide clear steps to reproduce or I'll have to close this issue.

I am not sure if it is an dbmail IMAP issue. However, I receive different
results using IMAP versus POP3. When using IMAP in thunderbird, the
subject is not displayed in the inbox. When using POP3 in thunderbird,
the subject is displayed in the inbox. The subject is also not displayed
at all in RoundCube 0.1. I had dbmail 2.7 previously installed and did
not experience this issue. I've attached screenshots from thunderbird
using IMAP and POP3 as well as RoundCube using IMAP. I've also included a
text file containing the message sources from each of the cases above. If
you would like any logs or tables, please let me know.

please provide level5 logs for message insertion. Sounds like you're having
a problem with the envelope cache.

I've attached the level 5 logs. I broke the log file chunks less than 50KB
in size. I logged into an account present in dbmail, sent an email to
another account in dbmail, and then attempted to view the email from the
other account in dbmail. Please let me know if you need any additional
logs or other information. Thank you.

the log shows:
dbmail-lmtpd[14748]: Error:[sql] dbmysql.c,db_query(+290): [Duplicate
entry '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' for key 3] [INSERT INTO
dbmail_headervalue (headername_id, physmessage_id, headervalue) VALUES
(10,187,'[EMAIL PROTECTED]')]
this issue is a duplicate of issue 685 resolved in 2.2.10rc1

pzebrowski,
could you please verify the fix in 2.2.10-rc1

I'm having trouble building and installing 2.2.10RC1 from source. I had
previously used a debian package to install 2.2.9. I compiled the source
and installed it, but lmtp does not appear to be working correctly. Would
it be possible for someone to create a debian package for 2.2.10RC1 or
provide me instructions on how to do it? Sorry, I realize this is not the
place, but I was just trying to confirm that 2.2.10RC1 would resolve my
issue.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
etch backported packages have just been uploaded to debian.nfgd.net

It works. Thank you.
