here is my setup. I have 2 servers. Intel 2.8Ghz 1GB of ram 160GB HD = MySQL server Intel 2.4Ghz 512MB of ram 80GB HD = Postfix, Amavis(ClamAV), SpamAssassin, DBMail. Heres the issue When i had 1 server setup doing everything. Downloading the mailbox headers took like 30-60 seconds (Depending on the amount of mail in the folder). Now that i have a dedicated sql server, it takes about 5-30 minutes to download the headers.
