The following issue has been CLOSED ====================================================================== http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=811 ====================================================================== Reported By: jasb Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: DBMail Issue ID: 811 Category: general delivery Reproducibility: have not tried Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: closed target: Resolution: no change required Fixed in Version: ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 21-Oct-09 11:05 CEST Last Modified: 28-Jan-10 13:57 CET ====================================================================== Summary: Encoding problem (possible) Description: Howdy Paul, Decided to insert this report here. Below it's what i wrote on email. Attached both files.
-- Before the upgrade to >= 2.3.6, this worked OK. A report message from MantisBT is wrong displayed on MSO2007 and others. The strange is that, on MSO2007 it just suppresses the non-ascii chars, but in RoundCube for example I can see them OK. Before the upgrade (were using 2.3.2), this worked OK on both sides. -- ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0002946) jasb (reporter) - 25-Nov-09 00:33 http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=811#c2946 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul, something more for this. On MSO2007, in the msg preview, the from field with us-ascii encoding is not well displayed. i'm attaching screenshot and raw msg for you to analyze. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0002992) jasb (reporter) - 24-Jan-10 23:20 http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=811#c2992 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Paul, This still happening even after the fix on http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=807.
