Hi all

I successfully use dbmail with postfix.
Today I wanted to make postfix perform SASL authentication when deciding if
relay mails or not. All guides I read over internet talk about using a pruned
version of dovecot with no imap and pop daemons up and running (of course! i
want to use dbmail). I didn't want to install and use a whole program like
dovecot to just make a query on database.. so I wrote a daemon script that
runs in background and by emulating protocol of dovecot can talk with postfix
to determine if email client is allowed to send email through postfix or not.

I would like to share it with dbmail community if it is found useful. Do you
think this can be of any interest?

Thank you in advance
Jack
