Hi all
I used Dbmail successfully for years with Mysql as backend, but since I moved
to postgresql 2 months ago I only had problems.
Just to name a few:
- incorrect imap sorting
- dbmail_imapd always at 100% of cpu
- sporadic sql errors in the log with the inability to create or use prepared
statements, date format error (the logged query was ".. where date =
'2012-09-1a' .. " clearly showing a memory overflow), incorrect blob management
(note that PG changed a default behavior for blob query when passed from
version 8.x to version 9.x)

It's with regret that today I had to completely uninstall dbmail from my
server. This email is just to ask you to modify the homepage (dbmail.org) where
you state that postgresql is supported. Maybe your test version is (8.x ?
dunno), but for sure latest versions (9.x) are not.

Best regards
Jack
