Hi Paul,

This is just an idea for a feature, I think of it with some interest, don't
know your opinion.

What do you thing about, having a configuration in dbmail.conf for the code
returned when mailbox is full, so that another status code it returned for
full mailboxes, so that postfix tries to deliver then in the next 4 days or
whatever postfix has configured for it?

By default, it would return the current status code, or if the parameter is
unexistent in dbmail.conf, or if present, LMTPD would return the configured
value.

I've seen some similar to this, I have no idea which software is, but as
said, I think it's handy this, imagine that I send an email to someone on
Friday, and the person has its mailbox full, on Monday when the person
returned to work/whatever, postfix will deliver it, and I won't forget to
send the email again J

Of course would receive the failure notice.. but would be nice this way.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on oberon.dnsoberon.com.

The message identifier is: 1VFQyM-0004Q1-Fo

The subject of the message is: Campanha Especial

The date of the message is: Fri, 30 Aug 2013 15:49:21 GMT

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

  sec....@bvsa.pt

    Delay reason: mailbox is full

No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for some
time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message remains
undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up, and when
that happens, the message will be returned to you.
