Don't know if it's production ready, but I upgraded to this version from 3.1.7 I used pop3s only: [POP] #port = 110 tls_port = 995 But with new version this do not work anymore. DBMail do not listen to any port. This works as expected: [POP] #port = 110 tls_port = 995

Although I'm running on 10.0 I didn't see anything unusual in the test build logs for 8 or 9. netstat -na | egrep '110|993' tcp6 0 0 *.110 *.* LISTEN tcp4 0 0 *.110 *.* LISTEN tcp6 0 0 *.993 *.* LISTEN tcp4 0 0 *.993 *.* LISTEN telnet localhost 110 showed a working pop3 server +OK DBMAIL pop3 server ready to rock <[email protected]> Is your bindip set to something like 0.0.0.0,:: Could you set your logging level to something like 63, that should show more of what is happening file_logging_levels = 63 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0003672) PYO (reporter) - 09-Sep-14 11:34 http://dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=1054#c3672 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- alan, you seems not understand. I have no problem with: [POP] port = 110 tls_port = 995 But I want ONLY 995 (pop3s): [POP] #port = 110 tls_port = 995 This was working on previous dbmail version. Now stops. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0003673) alan (reporter) - 09-Sep-14 11:51 http://dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=1054#c3673 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Just to confirm FreeBSD 10.0 dbmail 3.2.0 without 993/995 typo [POP] #port = 110 tls_port = 995 netstat -na | egrep '110|995' tcp6 0 0 *.995 *.* LISTEN tcp4 0 0 *.995 *.* LISTEN [POP] port = 110 tls_port = 995 netstat -na | egrep '110|995' tcp6 0 0 *.995 *.* LISTEN tcp4 0 0 *.995 *.* LISTEN tcp6 0 0 *.110 *.* LISTEN tcp4 0 0 *.110 *.* LISTEN logfile = /var/log/dbmail/dbmail-pop.log errorlog = /var/log/dbmail/dbmail-pop.err file_logging_levels = 31 Although logging is enabled and the log files created, nothing appears to be logged making debugging harder. Alas using dbmail-pop3d -Dv offers nothing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0003674) alan (reporter) - 09-Sep-14 12:03 http://dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=1054#c3674 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally appear to be able to reproduce. Lack of logging will slow down my efforts so I'm glad you have a working system. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0003675) sergej (reporter) - 09-Sep-14 12:11 http://dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=1054#c3675 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Guys, I already attached patch that fixes this problem. There is nothing to debug here. It is quite simple fix.
